Hello friends, I want to share with you an exciting fall and some other cool news.
I've been selected to participate Connersmith's annual Academy show, which can be seen online here.
THIS WEEKEND!! I am really excited to participate in the Sonic Circuits Festival of Experimental Music, September 9-11 at Logan Fringe Arts Space in DC. I will perform on Sunday. Sonic Circuits has been dedicated to showing and promoting experimental music in the DC area since 2001, and I am so pleased to perform and to partner with them on my upcoming exhibition- Noise Body Music
In the winter, I was chosen to participate in VisArts 2016 Emerging Curator Program, under the guidance of mentor curator Jacqueline Maria Milad. The exhibition I organized centers queer and gender non-conforming artists working across interdisciplinary visual art, dance, punk, and experimental electronic music, with contributions from artists who participated in a teen workshop I led this summer. more information on VisArts website.
I am very, very excited about this show. I've posted my curator statement and other info on my website.
There will be a zine/catalogue to accompany the exhibition, so if you can't make it I will be happy to send you a copy.
