I'm launching a new performance series in Baltimore called Gesture & Show

"Gesture & Show"
"Gesture & Show" is a quarterly performance art series curated by Eames Armstrong and hosted at Gallery 788.
Eames Armstrong is a DC-based artist/curator with a tremendous breadth of experience in performance art. Armstrong is the director of Aether Art Projects, a free form and nomadic arts organization, the editor of PERI0D art journal, and the founder of the blog "DC Performance Art." Armstrong also programmed the "Soapbox" performance art series at Hillyer Art Space in DC from the Fall 2011 to the Summer 2013.
Gallery 788 is located in the Hampden neighborhood of Baltimore, MD. Gallery 788 is an adaptive arts organization dedicated to presenting the breadth of artistic production unique to the region. Through its use of multiple gallery spaces, Gallery 788 aims to enlighten, engage, and build lasting relationships between the Greater Baltimore community and the arts. Additionally, Gallery 788 highlights a rotating lineup of monthly shows, musical performances, educational series, and presentations, building a welcoming environment for a diverse and dynamic audience.
Featured artists include Alexander D'Agostino, Kunj, Renee Regan, and Rachel Hynes.
Alexander D'Agostino: Currently lives and works in Baltimore, Maryland creating immersive performances blurring the line between dance, ritual, and the everyday.
Kunj: Is a DC-based interdisciplinary artist. His work focuses on hetero-normative dissuasion through the use of American and Hindu ritual.
Renee Regan: A photographer and performance artist that worships red, black, and white.
Rachel Hynes: A DC-based theatre devisor and performance artist.

After 2 fun years at 52 O, I'm all moved out. Luckily- I'm moving my studio to Hole in the Sky, which I am pretty pumped about. There's a print show coming up in just two weeks- can't wait!
