I work in neon and pastel acrylics, making funny and saturate figurative works as a counterpoint to the somber and abrasive quality of my live work. It all has to do with celebration and abasement of the body, transformational ritual, laughing at misery, conflicting mutability and immovability of gender.
I think of myself as somewhere in the zone genderqueer and anti-binary. I use they and she pronouns. I don't eat meat. I love books.
